The first game against Chicago this season provides the media another opportunity to talk to Nick about the infamous Patrick Sharp spearing incident that wrecked well-nigh catastrophic havoc on one of his testicles during the Conference Finals. While most men in Greater Hockeytown would rather never think of the incident again, Ansar Khan just had to ask.
Unfortunately for us blood-thirsty Wings fans, Sharp has apologized and had his apology accepted by the captain. So, the most we can hope for is the sight of Sharp being stared down by Nick and masterfully turned aside on any rush.
Unless Kronwall takes it into his head to introduce “Sharpy” to his shoulder, that is.
