Sounds pretty darn good to me. If he's smart he'll work his tail off this year and earn himself a nice extension next summer with the greatest franchise in professional sports. If it doesn't work out, he only cost $500k and it's not like we lost any players to get him. Oh, and a note to Patrick, if you want to earn some brownie points and a free pass from the fans for a little while, just score a goal against Chicago in the home opener. Trust me, it'll work.
