Matt, you mean Game 5 is going to be epic.

I also felt that the Wings played terribly for the first 40 minutes. There was no urgency in their game at all, especially offensively. It was like they were perfectly content to play a defensive game all game long and that a go-ahead goal would just fall into their lap. They were making a lot of lazy passes too, and were lucky the Pens didn't jump on some of those lazy passes.

Fortunately they pulled out a win in the third. It seems like every time Hudler manages to score a goal, it's a big one. And the defensive effort the Wings put forth that period was amazing. Cup-worthy effort for sure.

liljas penalty on crosby............you see about 4 minutes after the 5-3 filppula was skating into the penguins zone and the pitts defenseman did pretty much the same thing to him and didn't get a call...........theonly thing i like about crosby is that his fav player was yzerman, everytime i see him he is whining to the refs..
Go Wings.

oh yeah Z played awesome as always, and i think hands down he should get the conn trophy, but i think datsyuk should get the selke, his numbers were just incredible

Not sure I'd call it a "monumental effort" by the Pens in the third...other than the 5-on-3 chance on the doorstep there wasn't too much. It felt like they were watching the clock go down and started to panic.

I think the Pens should seriously consider benching Malkin for Game 5. He is becoming a liability with turnovers and is pulling up when he has the chance to shoot. And how'd you like him FORGETTING he was the defensive partner for Gonchar on that PP? If you were watching on Versus they were all over him on that.

I thought Game 3 was a lot more exciting with the back and forth chances and long stretches without stoppages. There was a lot more speed in that game and while tonight was exciting at times, it didn't seem to match the intensity. Ice quality probably was worse tonight with the heat...
