    wtf does he think dallas is the leader for?i can see habs or detroit getting him before dallas.mirtle wishes he had a tax free deal,what a doofus.gainey and holland have a better track record of developing talent and building teams than dallas’ wonder twins who inherited a good team.

    I’m not sure what you mean since Mirtle says nothing about Dallas in that post.

    Also, Mirtle is one of the most knowledgeable hockey guys I know of, so I wouldn’t be calling him a doofus.

    There was some other writer who referred to Dallas as the front-runner, but it wasn’t James Mirtle - it was Allan Muir of Sports Illustrated. The link at Kukla’s is here:
