I was really impressed by the Nashville crowd throughout this whole series. I'm a student at Michigan and the crowd at Yost is one of the wildest I've ever been to. The Nashville atmosphere reminded me a little bit of what it feels like to be at Yost, so bravo to them. It was also really nice to see the fans so positive and appreciative even after they lost, giving a standing ovation rather than angrily shuffling out.

I love that the McCarty comeback has worked out his well. I mean let's face it, it was really hard to combat all the cries of "It's all for show, McCarty's washed up, his days are over, the Wings might bring him back but what good is he really going to do, etc., etc." - but he's certainly proven that he deserves what he's got.

I always liked McCarty but what really makes this all the sweeter is the attitude he had the whole time. He seems so genuinely grateful for whatever opportunities he's been given, which makes me even happier to see him pan out so well.
