I’m going to be away from the computer through Sunday, so I won’t be able to post until then.
Be sure to stop by the usual suspects: Snapshots, Abel to Yzerman, HockeyTownTodd, Behind the Jersey, No Pun Intended, yzerman is god, Detroit Hockey, LetsGoWings, Red Wings Brasil, and Winging It In Motown.

It seems no one posts here when the Wings are winning. Coupled with the fact that Matt is away and his insight is missing, I feel a need to post a simple WOOOOOO HOOOOOO.
They’re finding ways to win despite diversity. Good stuff.
1st team to break 100 points. (Ties record of 5 consecutive in NHL history)
1st team to guarantee a playoff seed this season.
I would like, again, to thank all of the regular contributors here. Sara(h?) and Matt and everyone that takes time to post here…it is truly appreciated by those of us on the fringes who might not get regular Wings news. You all do amazing work and I respect your opinions immensely.
Now the fun of getting all of the boys healthy and rested for a violent playoff run…Let’s pray Pronger gets his act together before someone truly gets ruined….to me, he is THE most dangerous player in the NHL (besides Chris Simon) if, for no other reason, he gets away with it virtually every time.
I miss your posts Matt, and look forward to your insightful return.
CONGRATS WINGS for making us proud again!
p.s. Get well soon Draper! (lol….he is listed as having a “slightly” torn groin.) The playoff speak begins. Nothing slight about it….like a slight concussion? Either way…Wheels will be missed.
Scott,
Thanks! It’s always great to have our work here affirmed by our readers.
Too bad the Wings lost whatever it was they had found by dropping two this past weekend. They’ll find it again, though!
I’m with you on Pronger. The difference between him and Simon is that I’m more inclined to see Simon as someone with emotional problems that need to be addressed. Pronger, on the other hand, doesn’t have anger problems so much as he’s just coldheartedly violent. Scary.
I have to say that my two most dangerous players are Pronger and Jordin Tootoo, but that’s just me. Scott Downie is up there as well.
Here’s hoping Draper can make it back Wednesday. The Wings could use his faceoff expertise!
