Babcock must have been seeing some of the same things I saw with Lilja in the previous game, since he played Meech during this game in place of Lilja.

The Central definitely has become competitive again... it's good to see. But the Wings need to realize it and play their "A" game when facing these teams...

and why the heck is Hasek playing??! Osgood has been sharp as can be. Hasek probably goes and complains to the coach after every game if he doesn't get the start... his ego is bigger than Joe Louis.

Reviewing those numbers, I can only conclude that the Red Wings are preparing to join the Eastern Conference prematurely.

That was a fun game to watch, it is not losing 2 straight to our Div rivals that I find upsetting it is the way..

Unable to hold onto a lead
Takeaways are down..4 in St louis..5 in Chi..
All 3 defenders playing the puck on rebounds..

Our PK have given up
4/11 in 2 games
5/18 in last 3
7/24 in last 4

While our PP
0/5 STL
0/4 CHI
0/5 NAS
1/7 CBJ
(that is 1/21 just to put it in perspective)
And
The common denominator is..As Baroque points out..
Central Division..
For years the dreaded road swing has been the NW Div..
Now facing Hitchcock, Murray, Trotz and an entirely
retreaded Chicago special forces..Well, a rough road and

We should not forget the creative 5 0n 3 that kept the Blue Jackets from halting the streak on home ice.
