If you mean Avery sticks up for his teammates by fighting, good for him. I bet they don't appreciate having to kill off his penalties nearly as much. If he was so popular in LA, why'd they <a href="http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=162402&hubname=nhl" rel="nofollow">cut him a year ago</a>? Sure they brought him back (under a new coach, I believe), but that doesn't mean he was popular in the locker room.
