I was trying to be a little humorous and apparently failed brutally. I know he's a quality player. His physical play would be valuble to the Wings However, his penchant for fighting is not necessarily a plus in the NHL today. In any case, the Wings are lucky he cleared waivers and will need him themselves at times this year, I'm sure. I did not mean to imply that Bootland is all looks and no ability. He's a great hockey player. He fights, he'll go into a corner and dig a puck out, he scores, he's pretty good on defense. He was seventh in scoring on the Griffins last season- 27-29-56 - plus 390 penalty minutes. I'm quite please he'll be back in GR, because the Griffins really need him.
