As far as I know, he is doing well. A recent Freep article reports he hasn’t had any incidents for months.

It isn’t very likely that Jiri will return, Cherry. It doesn’t sound like they know what exactly happened and what caused it and until they do, there is no chance he will be allowed back. It is very sad but I think it is extremely likely Jiri’s career is over.

Does anyone know when Jiri is going to be back? I didnt get to see the game because i dont live in the veiwing area. But when i was watching the scores across the bottom of OLN and it noted the game had been delayed i was in shock. Then when it noted Jiri Fisher had had a seizure while sitting on the bench I was in tears. I am a true die hard Red Wings Fan and that scared me to tears. Thinking that someone who is only 25 and seemed to be in perfect shape had a seizure what does that mean for the rest of us? All I know is my family and I send our best wishes to Jiri and Avery! Get Well soon Jiri!!!
