For hockey fans who have only known pessimism for the past year, it's hard to buy into rumors or insider leaks without doubting them, but I'm starting to believe this deal can get done before July 1st. And that's an important date: when personel contracts expire (including Lewis, Kocur, Smith, and I think something happens with free agents like Datsyuk on that date) and maybe in time to get ESPN back in the picture...or a rush draft...let's cross our fingers!!
