The Wings will face the Blues for the first of 6 meetings this season tonight at the Joe. The Blues have won 4 of their last 5 games but the Wings have won 17 of their last 18 home games (dating back to February 6, last season) and are on a 15 game winning streak at home. They’ll be facing a considerably depleted Blues team tonight, with (most notably) Al MacInnis (eye) and Barret Jackman (shoulder) out. Pronger’s already up there with the leaders in minutes played so expect him to get a lot of ice time tonight. Darren McCarty is probable tonight after finding out his right big toe is broken. Dom will get the start (Joseph will get his first start tomorrow in Nashville). The Wings outscored the Blues 26-10 last year and won all 5 meetings. The Blues are a team the Wings traditionally dominate and hopefully that will be the case tonight.
