The Wild shut out the Wings 4-0 last night. Not a terrible game, though it started out badly, with Minnesota setting a franchise record when they scored 21 seconds into the game. The Wings had their chances and the puck either bounced over their stick or they couldn’t get a rebound. They had 33 shots but just made Rolosson look way better than he is. The Wild are a good team though and I’m glad they made the playoffs, even though they beat the Wings to do it (when I said they needed 5 points before, I was wrong..thanks alot ESPN….). After the Wild scored their EN goal, they got a power play when Shanny got ejected (for complaining about the bad refereeing?). Then they scored on a deflection with about 20 seconds left. I doubt the Wings will forget that. Tomorrow night’s game at the Joe should be good (they’re playing the Wild again, at 7:30). The refs made a few bad calls but the Wings still lost it themselves, no one lost it for them. They can’t win them all though. Luckily, the Blues lost too, so the Wings still have a seven point lead. The Stars won and so are tied with us now. | full recap
